Default 76-77 TA Custom interior seats same as GP?

I know that the front seats for a 76-77 TA with custom interior look the same as a GP,but are the tracks the same??

No, different tracks. TA track legs are very short, while the legs on GP tracks will be too tall.

I picked up a set of burg GP seat backs for my 78 T/A, they were the same but were missing the slot on the side. Where they lock.

you can switch the seats back and forth, but the tracks are different. I used a set of tilt Grand Am seats in my 73 TA. same deluxe pattern, just had to switch out the tracks to mount in car.

Seat back and base are almost the same, the forward sliding and latching mechanism for letting people in the back seat is different (sturdier on the GP) and the seat tracks are different as everyone has said.
