Vacuum advance working? or enough vacuum?
Is it manifold or ported vacuum?

my mechanic who is very good changed from ported vacuum to manifold he explained why manifold vacuum is the way to go, although i'm no mechanic so it all a bit confusing to me, anyway its idle was much better after going to manifold, he did timing and car ran much better, I'm talking it was a different car after he did the work it ran so much better... im sure he has checked vacuum for problems a few times but its all good working fine
