Perhaps the next owner will make it RIGHT?

Back in the day when they were running the T/A in the trans am circuit they were limited to 5 litre engines so they used the chevy engine for the cars from canada because they came with a small block so they were factory engine which made them leagel to run. If not they wouldnrt have been able to race the T/A back then.

only for 1971 (and beyond) did the BFG Tirebird run a 302 SBC. during the ill fated season with Jerry Titus in 1970, the T/G Racing Firebird Trans Am's ran a Pontiac 303.....this car in its present livery is technically correct as it is......

That's a fallacy.........there were NO Firebirds built in Canada till 1993...........I believe that 1977...was the first year that an sbc (305) was factory installed in a bird...

It's cool. Would like to have it. But I would like to have the 1985 Porsche 962C Rothmans race car. But that's just me and partial to Porsches.

Drag racing. An adrenalin rush like no other. It felt like going into combat, tasting your first beer, and losing you virginity, all in about 8 seconds.
