I'll be picking up a Pass side one. I don't feel like patching my old one back together.

Chuck, do they have the dip below the rear marker light? They look flat in that picture you posted.

Yes they have the dip. Look just like a original quarter.

wow...
I was doubting that this would happen... this reminds me, of the other panel I didn't expect to see - the tail panel... need to get on that one (edit: sent a request with them for one)

I think back to a recent time when I was offered a pair of NOS/GM quarters for 8 grand.

I hope it wasn't a friend who offered you the quarters

How is the fitment of the side marker light? I have read many complaints about the skins not fitting right in that area.

reproduction of GM 70 to 73 rear quarters
these new full panel reproductions should have no fitment issues...the quarter marker problem was with those 1/2 skins that were/are out there for $99 each

No. I was someone from this site.
It's true. these 1/2 quarters where the marker light fits, I had to do some mods with my welder to those areas. |

Ha Ha Ha, Glenn, you have to be kidding. Besides, I won't do that for two reasons. One, I already have these half skins welded in place and two, that would destroy your car. It's good to know that these full quarters are available now. If down the road these panels fail for some reason I can get a full replacement. Thanks again for going through all of the hard work of getting these panels made and available.

Chuck - Which vendor did you use for yours?
My search for a 70-73 Firebird to build into a pro-touring hot rod just got more options!

Will lower patch panels also be made available -- to replace the cheap ones already on the market?

Will it be possible to see a picture or two of these quarters with the marker light fastened in place? If so, thanks.

Yes, quarter sections made from these same panels would be great! Hate to buy an entire panel just to replace a rotted bottom.

FULL 1/4 PANELS
after all these years they are looking to sell some serious full quarters...maybe patch panels in another 20 years but I doubt it...the kool factor now is..with the trunk drop offs, the tail panels, and now full 1/4s...some cars that were junk can really be turned around..even a later body could be converted...it a shame they don't make the inner tail brace (like 70 to 73 Camaro) that would be the iceing..I don't believe they will..that is a key part as they have the full trunk pan..oh well a good body man can easily fabricate something..easily this has been a 15 year wait

Patch panels would be easy to produce as they are just a section of the full.

Man this is good news. I bought a 72 a few month back that needs a driver side quarter. I new it was just a matter of time until one would be released. Guess I'll be doing the body work to that sooner than I thought
