Default Best exhaust system for LS in F body (69 Firebird).

Looking for opinions on a mandrel bent 2 1/2" high quality exhaust system for an F body (1st. generation Firebird) with a LS engine installed. Car will be a 69 convertible with GTO LS power, Tremec TKO 600 transmission and mini tubbed. Do you know of a pre fit, pre bent system for this application. Car will utilize factory modern GTO exhaust manifolds. Thank You.

Blackgoat, is your car a convertible ? Whom did you purchase your system through...directly through Magnaflow or a vendor, was it a custom deal or a stocking item, is your fuel tank narrowed & notched in the corners for clearance, available in 2 1/2" ? etc... Thank You.

I bought the exhaust through a vendor. Yes gas tanks is from rick's gas tanks and narrowed and notched. There was modifying required but nothing a good welder can't fix. I'll c if I can get the part number. And will.try post pics

Great, Thank You. Are you pleased with your fuel tank from Rick/Matt. How does it look from behind being smooth, does it look out of place I mean like real obvsious as not original from behind ? My fear is that I want the car to look stock & original on the exterior and interior but that fuel tank is rolled SS. If you are able to post some photos can you take a nice shot from behind showcasing the fuel tank too. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much for the photos. The tank looks very good as well as the car which looks super tough I might add. That eases my mind for going with a Rick's tank for LS power. Thank You Black Goat.

69FIREBIRD76MM, Can you tell me what you did for a radiator for your LS powered bird. I have some ideas but would like to confirm what others have sucessfully done. Is your car mini tubbed, is it a convertible ? Thank You.
