Default 1969 Lemans conv. ("Judge clone")

Been thinking about this for a while, haven't put more than 1500 miles on it total in the last 4 years , so I'm going to try to send it to a new home. I purchased it in '06 from a member here, ponchjoe. Its a California car, 69 Lemans, most everything but the rear marker lights have been replaced with GTO stuff. Strong engine - 1968 428 block bored .030 over with balanced 455 rotating assy. Pistons are forged Speed pro. Crower 60243 cam,'72 GTO 7K3 heads, comp springs, roller tipped 1.52 rockers. Edelbrock RPM intake with Cliff Ruggles built Quadrajet. Headman ceramic coated shorty headers. Turbo 400 trans, limited slip 8.5 " rear out of a '71 Vista Cruiser wagon w/3.42 gears. Front disc brakes.Top was replaced around '03-'04 as were seat covers, carpet, door panels.Tires have less than 2000 miles, but they are 5 or 6 years old. I've taken the car on several pretty long distance trips and have never had any problems. Originally an a/c car, but thats all been removed. Paint looks good, but does have a few nicks and chips here and there. Car is not perfect, has it's little quirks as they all do , but mostly just needs a little TLC. These outdoor pics are a few years old,car still looks the same except I replaced the taillights w/GTO lights.
p.s. Hood tach was refurbished with modern electronics
Looking to get $15,000

put some new pics on flickr. Try this link - https://www.flickr.com/photos/123566...n/photostream/

All the body/paint work was done before I got the car. I do know the door skins were replaced. Quarter panels and front fenders are original. Floors and floor braces are original and solid,no rust at all. There was some rust repair done around the taillights and I believe the lower quarters. The core support has some rust at the mounting bushing. All the body mount bushings were replaced. Ponchjoe replaced all the tie rods and control arm bushing and added a quick ratio steering box. Has 2 1/2 " mandrel bent exhaust w/ Walker Dynomax mufflers. Sounds really good.

That's a hell of a buy. I bought mine for 5K more in 2011 and it wasn't as nice.
