Paul, how about the 65 Convert. that sold for around 90k earlier in the week? I know it had some 'add on' options that weren't on the PHS, but what was correct and how was the workmanship and detail?

Nice car. I liked it. It was one of the nicer Pontiacs there. The finish could have used a bit attention but it presented well.

-The white 74 SD bid to 100k and didn't sell...
-Green 69 GTO convert that was listed as one owner needed restored. It was a 2bbl car that had the wrong heads, intake and carb. 25,000.00 car, bid into the 50's I believe, no sale.
-liberty? Turquoise? 69 GTO convert bid to 72,000.00 and didn't sell, this car was a mess.
-Orbit 70 Judge that was really an Atoll Blue/Black vinyl top car that had a ra 3 motor in spite of the RA 4 call outs... Bid to 65,000.00 and didn't sell.
-Carousel 69 that was an amateur restoration with many, many wrong parts and bad paint bid into the 60's and didn't sell.

Flippers? I don't know what the reason was, car quality was down, the bidders tried to overpay for these cars and could 't buy them.

Scott's car was hurt by curb appeal in my opinion. It is cool as hell to us, but the buyers weren't digging the green exterior, bench seat, dog dish, stripper look! It sucks, but is reality.

Did you see the black 79 Z on Friday that sold for 23,000.00? Belonged to a friend of mine, new interior, 5 speed, 4 wheel disc, 19,000 miles... He had 27k in it. Those 2nd gen Camaro's are not hot... The T/A's seem to be ahead of them by leaps and bounds... Other than the early split bumper cars...

Anyone look at the 69 Camaro Yenko 427 "replica" ? ....sold at $35,000

Looked like a respectable car to drive and have fun in......price wasn't bad either, imo.

Yep. Some folks absolutely loved it but the folks with deep pockets were obviously not enamored.

Scott

check the ad - look like it had VIN issues.

.......probably just a State issued VIN (non mfg).....I think they all still must have a title that matches the VIN.....or they wont take the vehicle....correct?

See this a lot with the street rods....still can title.
