Default engine needed

I am looking for a good not wore out tempest engine, I bought an engine from a guy here in Indiana, it was supposedly a rebuilt engine (long block) after getting it all together in the car, it fires every lick but will not run, the compression on all cylinders is 85 lbs, not thru with it yet,, but if an engine came along that runs and is not wore out for the right price I could be interested. the car is a 62

I have the fairly complete 1963 4 banger that came out of Born Too Late. I have never taken it apart and it's just sitting in my barn. I would be willing to part with it.

PM me if you are interested.

I've got one rebuilt with 6000 miles on it. Intake to oil pan to flywheel to water pump, $1,300 plus the ride. No BS. It's a very good engine.

I have picked up several 195 4 cylinders where the owners claimed they ran good, most needed rings. I recommend taking DJ up on his offer of his rebuilt motor over an original sitting around. Its a great deal!

If at all possible, let me know in the coming days. I've got someone else asking for it and the closer I get to Norwalk the less time I have to pull, crate and ship it.
