Wow, I wonder how many clutches that's been through if it really has 369K miles.
Astonishing it could last that long in the east coast climate. A testiment to the durability of the 301 if it isn't thrashed on. Looks like the RR quarter is buckled but can't tell if it is from collision or frame rot. I don't think this is the same (car) as the last couple '79 4-speed GPs that turned up in the last couple years. Those were either black or powder blue IIRC. |

IMHO, It might be worth the parts to save everything and build a 4-spd conversion from a clean 78-80 GP that was aquired at a bargain price.
Or transplant into the Grand Am CA that is for sale in AZ. Limited slip axle is a plus. I like that it has Rally IV wheels. Can't tell if it is a NO A/C car. That would be cool too. |
