Default tow hitch

I am looking for a tow hitch for my 1966 Tempest convertible . If anyone has one, or knows where I can get one, please let me know.

I have one on a 71 parts car I have. Will it fit your 66? It's a 71 lemans.

I don't know what is compatible with my 66. Anyone that has one can email me pictures at LDshook1@comcast.net. I'll also need to know mounting hole measurements, and what it bolts to, so I can compare to my 66.

Thanks, Luke

Luke - in addition to my response on the other thread I also have a bumper hitch for a '69 Firebird that I didn't use.

You can have it if you think it would work (...I don't think I threw it away...).

If it makes a difference, the fuel inlet for the 66 Tempest convertible is behind the license plate. A few people have told me they have a hitch that might work for my car. I may be interested in more than one, so I can install hitches on my other cars.

I have a stock Pontiac wiring harness for a 66 if you are looking for that. It will not work on my 68 Grand Prix. It twist in to the tail light harness and will hook up for trailer lights. If interested PM me your e-mail and I can get you pics.

I finally hooked up the trailer hitch to the convertible. I took it to a local car show with a trailer in tow, and mini convertible.
