Default Ken Keefer (aka Pontiac Dude) where are my parts?

I agonized posting this but all other attempts have failed.

Starting on 7/18 I contacted Ken about multiple items he had posted in the classified.

A deal was struck, payment made promptly by me..

I was given a couple excuses why nothing had not shipped , then got no responses via P.M.s.

On, 8/20 I did recieve a P.M. from his daughter saying he had a personal set-back (not my place to discuss in public).

I did receive a small portion of what I paid for and was assured the rest was be shipped via his daughter.

Again, nothing.

My messages to his daughter now go unanswered.

I was going to try and call direct but his site in gone which really concerns me.

I feel I have very patient (over 2 months) and understanding but he has over $1000 of my money.

So, Ken, where are my parts?

No excuses, but Ken and Karen are both wheelchair bound. Ken fell a month or two ago and broke his kneecap requiring surgery and can't be on his feet for another month. His house and property are not wheelchair friendly so I suspect they're stuck there. This left the entire business in Danee's hands and I'm sure she's overwhelmed.

He called as he was leaving the hospital but I've not heard from him since.

Let me see if I can help.

I just hope he will be back on his feet soon. I have only heard good things about him and he has been in the business forever…so i would not expect him to be a crook. I can understand your concerns though…maybe a PY-member close to Ken can pick up your parts for you?

Just an update.

On the Oct. 1st , I received a PM from a person only identified as MSPACMAN , stating labels were created and that the rest of my stuff was shipping "tomorrow".

I did track and receive one of the shipments on the 8th. So one of the three ads I paid for is finally complete.

The second package showed no movement. I sent a PM to MSPACMAN yesterday telling what I am still short and to be quite honest, "when the hell will I be getting the rest of my stuff ?".

No response at all but the package all of the sudden showed movement about 2 hours ago!!!

My "trying to be a good guy" patience has been exhausted and am getting tired of being jerked around.

First wanted to say "thanks" to all who offered to help , the Pontiac community rocks.

I also wish better results from those who sent me messages about their issues.

Parts have trickled in, the last had a rather "angry" hand written note in it aimed at me.

I also see that Ken's has been actively selling on Ebay since Oct 19th , hmmmm.

Based on those 2 things along with what has transpired up until now, I am going to say uncle and cut my losses.

I would proceed with extreme caution when dealing with Ken's in the future.
