2014 Pontiac Southern Nationals
We are pleased to announce the PSN will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 8:00 am – 3:15 pm once again on the grounds of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, TX. The PSN Pontiacs will be parked in and around a Cavanaugh Hangar; the Planes will be on display on the grounds. Part of the schedule for Fall Fly Days will include P-51 Mustangs, Aircraft Carrier demonstration, Sherman Tank demo, Warbird Rides, Troop Transport rides – and that’s not all, the list goes on! The car show entry fee includes admission to the Flight Museum for those arriving in the show car. Pontiac fans, family and spectators arriving in vehicles other than show cars will enter the car show and Flight Museum via the Cavanaugh Flight Museum entrance and pay the museum admission fees. Sunday, September 28th, Gates open at 9:00 am: The PSN Drag Race Day will be held at the North Star Dragway in Denton, TX. This will again be held in conjunction with the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge. The TMCCC is a car club vs. car club venue that has dates scheduled throughout the year, and DAPA always participates. Combined with PSN on Sunday, Sept. 28 will allow PSN Pontiacs to race against Chevys, Fords, Mopars and whatever else is in the other lane. Please print and mark your calendars, and feel free to forward to your Pontiac Buddies. Additional PSN details are available on our website www.dapa.org Oh, and I almost forgot, the Bombshell Girls will be there posing for photos with Planes and Pontiacs.

In conjunction with the PSN the Cavanaugh Flight Museum will be holding their Fall Fly Days. They are telling us that the Flying Tigers will be holding a reunion during our event.

Well cool, I love the new venue. I do miss the host hotel though, just makes it a lot easier with family in tow. Never been to North Star but heard it’s a good track. Looking forward to it, thank you DAPA!
