Default Light always on!!

1973 FB, Even with the headlight switch in the "off" position, the Head lights and running lights front and back always stay on. Is my head light switch bad or is there something else I should check for?
Thanks

I'm thinking the headlight switch first too. They are pretty cheap and easy to replace, so if you're wrong you won't be out much. I'm going from memory here, but I think after you pull it you could try to disassemble it and possibly try that fix first.
