Default Expected gains adding 150 shot to 10 second car

I am just looking for a ballpark idea what to expect.

The car runs between 10.0 & 10.2 @ 130 mph N/A.

Knowing that I will not get the "most" out of a 150 shot since it is set up for n/a.

Is .25 to.50 reduction in ET realistic?

How about Mph gain?

Thanks

I bet you pick up over .5 sec. and 8-9 mph.

Take your ET Slips from running the car NA and average them out to get a number you can plug into Wallace's Calculator to determine a average horsepower number NA.

Then lower the et/mph (by adding horsepower until you get to 150 HP.

So then you will have a ET/MPH for the 150 shot increase in HP.

Mike Thermos, Big Boss at NOS told me one time that if you used his stuff and installed a 150 HP system on a 5 HP lawnmower, you would have a true 155 HP
lawnmower for some period of time before it blew up.

Course today the NOS stuff may not be as consistent because people are not buying 150 HP systems. The immediately change stuff on the system and the results could be better or worse after tyhe tweeking of a known calibration to "make it better"

Just like people screwing up good Holley factory calibrations in the old days.

Just for apples and oranges comparison I had a power shot 125hp system on one of my cars years ago. Car ran 14.35 on motor with the juice it ran 12.90.

Mike told me while 20 years ago while testing a pro mod engine on the dyno, it continued to make more power retarding the timng all the way down to zero, but the engine would die and not run at 0 without the nitrous on!!!

Need to know something about you car and engine setup. 150 HP shoot of nitrous is not like adding 150 N/A HP. The 150 HP shoot adds 150 HP at ALL RPM. Below shows what a 200 HP shoot should add to HP and torque.
