In 1965 Jim Wangers hatched a plan to uplift the GTO’s place on the drag strip with the creation of the GeeTO Tiger Show. Years later, in 2001, Jim Wangers reincarnated the GeeTO Tiger as a marketing campaign for Pontiac Enthusiast magazine. Jim Wangers’ GeeTO Tiger roared to life at Pontiac events around the country inciting the hobby with the “Beat the Tiger” match race program. The “new” GeeTO Tiger is one of the Pontiac hobby’s most revered GTOs and now this iconic GTO can be bought!.
Jim Wangers is disbanding his Wangers Race Team operations and as such has placed the GeeTO Tiger up for sale. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the ultimate Pontiac collector cars.
