Thanks Will. It started out as a simple carb and manifold upgrade. Then all summer and fall and no money left for 10 years.

I see you're in Seattle, I'm in Bellingham, small world.

Indeed. Not a lot of us Pontiyakkers around these parts compared to elsewhere. I have a couple friends up in the 'ham, maybe I'll see you on the road sometime.

Hope so. We may have seen each other at the "All Pontiac Show" at Country Village.

I remember your car from Country Village year before last I think. It was really nice then.. now looks awesome.

That's a lot of work, hope you are enjoying it.

Those seats look really good in there!

So does the T-handle on your shifter.

And nice photos too. Thanks for sharing them.

Thanks all. After that much work it's great to have good feedback. What sucks is it's winter now and I can't drive it much.

Looks great! How's it run now compared to prior configuration?

It took awhile to get the Q-jet adjusted right. The secondaries were opening too soon causing a gag when I floored it but once that was fixed she's a rocket. I love it but I got pulled over testing it. Thankfully the deputy was a good guy and just gave me a verbal warning. It was a back road with no traffic so he was lenient and I try to keep it under 200 now.

I think if I had been twenty something he would have written the ticket. Sometimes it pays to be a little older.

That's cool. Many of us LEO's have an appreciation for old muscle as well as the difference between a young "hot-head" and someone blowing the carbon out...

With these specs my guess is you've gone a hair over the limit for testing only of course.

Unfortunately that combo only lasted 10 miles before wiping out the thrust bearing and is currently being redone by CVMS. There was plenty of testing with the prior combo though...

Oh man that sucks. I can almost picture you running up on a crime seen with that beast. Kind of like Stalones "Cobra" 50 Merc.

I must admit, that does seem pretty cool- in fact, your ride really looks the part. It's funny that cop movies often show LEO's using their POV's while performing official duties. We have very strict guidelines against it. My bird hasn't even been in the city where I work!!- at least since I've owned it.

Nicely done! There are many ways to end up with no money for 10 years. Projects that end up like this are worth it!

Thanks and yes, Comp recommended it for most Pontiac applications and with the 3.23 rear I felt with the good low-end and mid-range torque it was a good fit.
