Default antenna lead

Hey guys looking for some help with my antenna lead Is there a way to check to make sure the lead Is connected to the windshield antenna with the radio removed Thanks

From the outside remove the lower reveal molding. There is a very fine wire to the connector. If you have the windshield antenna? From the inside look up from under instrument panel with a light to top of underside of windshield. Easier if you don't have A/C. Had to do this on a 70 Olds Cutlass.

Yeah thanks Scott I do have air and the windshield antenna I tried looking up have radio out and AC controls still can't see Seem to be behind defroster duct was hoping there was a way to check it to see if it is working from inside to outside window antenna .Thanks again

Come on guys there's no way of checking the inside lead to make sure its connected to the windshield

Just remove the lower windshield molding. Then remove the antenna itself. (2 screws)
The coax is attached to that part that comes through the cowl. Mine was broken on the inside at the base. That is why I looked up on the inside.

Thanks Scott got it now before I remove those 2 screws I'm afraid I'll never get them back in. Is that piece under the reveal molding all one piece to the inside coaxial radio antenna. Thanks
