I've never heard of anyone in the area with 17 GTO's..... let alone a Silver VOE Judge.

He did also said he was offered over $20,000 locally but wants it out of the area as he has bad blood with his stepmother and does not want to see the car ever again. She is the reason he has to sell the car. So goes the story.

years ago a guy had a phs he showed me of a 70 gto convert ra4 that showed the voe on it. this was before phs existed. I wish I had memorized the vin on it.

i saw a gold 70 ram III gto with VOE it was owned by a friend of my uncles..they where drinking buddies/co-workers(believe me..drinking was more important than working)...it seemed real..but it was prob 78 or 79 when i saw it..no one was faking much then..it was in Bethalto Il..sat in front of a tavern/resturant most of the time i knew of it..then it was just gone...maybe 84 or 85 it was gone..sad looking too..beat on every corner..and very rusty....i doubt it survived the 80s

He claims this car is the one used in the tv commercial with John D. The one in the commercial he is referring to is silver and I don't see John D. Unless there is a different commercial.
