head gasket question for Brand X
Justin
we've all heard the horror stories of head gasket failures, melting the head between the ex valves, head bolt bosses collapsing etc etc. I was wondering how your set up is doin? double O-rings, dry decked with copper gasket IIRC thanx in advance Kevin |

I made over 200 hits on my engine without head gasket failure. I did put new gaskets on around 110 passes just for good measure but they weren't needed. I contribute my success to butlers oring design for boost, Travis Quillens input on parts selection and tuning, and conservative timing numbers.
Also most of my passes were 35lbs of boost and lower on q16. But on 35lbs it's a monster!
