Cool Pontiac Car and/or Dealer Movie and TV Sightings

So...watching Season 2 (1975), Rockford Files, Episode 7: The Real Easy Red Dog

had to stop and share this classic SoCal scene w plenty of great Pontiac vibes!

Note the Blue 1975 Firebird & 1962 (IIRC) Seafoam Green Catalina(?) Pontiac parked at the curbside as James Garner (aka: Jim Rockford) PI drives past the "Pontiac Service" dealership in his Firebird

Here's the screen grab below for your viewing pleasure:

How about a cameo appearance of the Two Lane Blacktop Judge from an old Kojak episode!

Thx and thank you for posting the Kojack & Adam 12's too. Coincidently, I started watching Adam 12 again digging the background cars and scenes...then remembered and switched to Rockford Files.

Beverly HillBillies and The Munsters are good too but most are only in black & white...Emergency! and The Night Stalker are in color and can be great for harvesting vintage vehicles in scenes and backgrounds.

Post Them If You've Got Them!

I watch a lot of "CHiPs" episodes with my kids - always a lot of Pontiacs following behind them.

This poor 69 GTO got "the ramp" treatment in a CHiPs episode.

Another show to check for muscle cars is "The Mod Squad" (1968-1973). Here's a 69 GTO ragtop.

Mike, this one you've posted exactly reminds me of my experience I posted on the "I Got Schooled Today Thread" about CR '69 GTO's...

Subject: I got schooled by this iconic Pontiac "onlooker!"

I noticed Jim Wangers stop and look over this rag-top '69 from top to bottom amd over again that we towed to the DAPA Pontiac Southern Nationals w Glen and Joan Duncan. I introduced myself to Jim and he asked about the car and any documentation...was really interested in options as presented and cordially advised CR factoid (Jim is great at being diplomatic)
Jay Gould (was) the owner of the trophy winning 1969 Carousel Red Rag-top GTO. Jim Wangers pointed out that this GTO was a special ordered 'Judge Delete' optioned Goat - "that was the only way to get the Judge specialty color of Carousel Red on a non-Judge Goat." HERE

For me this was a very pleasant exchange, a great intro meeting to Jim, and I did in fact "get schooled" by a GTO expert! Every time I see a non-Judge CR GTO I remember that great meeting and conversation.

I saw that episode recently, and cringed.
