Sorry, but I was wrong in post above. In the early 80s I had a car that came (towed) to shop for dying while driving and if you waited 10 or 15 mins it would start up and be fine. The car was towed in 5 or 6 times. I dropped the tank with the fuel in it and it took a while, but I saw something floating in the tank. I found out the woman was cheating on the husband (he was a cop) and he took Handyrap and cut it into small pieces and it to the tank they went. Guess what, after I found the problem, the cop went to jail. problem fixed. A sock is needed. Sorry again!!
