The Pontiac comes through
We had my sons 68 goat at our local car show today.
Definitely a low stress show, No trophies or entry fee, just a fun car show. The only prize is a gift certificate for peoples choice. There where over 300 cars and trucks entered....some really nice......some not so much. I walked through the line of cars and saw only 4 Pontiacs. My sons 68 GTO, 2 Firebirds and one late 60s Ventura hardtop. There were Lots of Chebbys, Camaros, Chevelles, Ratrods, Mopars, you name it Now that I think about it....I didn't see any "riceburners"  Well anywhos.....    My sons GTO won peoples choice.....at least that's what I think they called it.  Bill The old man feeling rather proud tonight

 frittering and wasting the hours in an off hand way.... 1969 GTO, 455ci, 230/236 Pontiac Dude's "Butcher Special" Comp hyd roller cam with Crower HIPPO solid roller lifters, Q-jet, Edelbrock P4B-QJ, Doug's headers, ported 6X-8 (97cc) heads, TKO600, 3.73 geared Eaton Tru-Trac 8.5", hydroboost, rear disc brakes......and my greatest mechanical feat....a new heater core.
