Default 1967-68 Firebird Lower AC metal baffle

Hi Guys & Gals. As you know, Max Performance has been producing Pontiac parts for the hobby and now we are looking for an original lower metal baffle for the 1967-68 FB's with AC or HO. It can be rusted, just not missing pieces or badly damaged. If anyone has a used one that is willing to give it up, we would be interested in purchasing it form you. Just think... when we come out with the new METAL baffle, YOU were responsible for making that happen...

That would be a nice product to have on the market. If I sent you one that was slightly damaged would I get the first production one free?

how slightly damaged? Send a clear picture or two to mikes@maxperformanceinc.com. Please show where it's damaged unless it's that obvious. Thanks

I thought I had two. One is on the car. I will have to go barn digging to see if I do in fact have another.

I sold one a few years back to Year One I think it was, perfect shape looked like it had never been used thinking it was going to be reproduced, ended up on a car going to Australia. But I think I got like $500 or $600 for it. Would have been nice to see them repop that one

We are talking about this pan correct?

I thought mine was in pretty bad shape but its almost perfect. Pretty sure I don't want to part with it.

Let me know if you still need one. I have a spare 68 pan. Really good shape, but not perfect. Would make a great pattern as there is no major damage.

Regards,
OJ

Pictures of the 67-8 & 69 baffles have been sent for quotes. Initial quotes were much too high because of the tooling, so we are looking at another sheet metal place. That's all I know for now. We'll post something when we know more. Thanks for checking...
