Want to buy 1973 Grand Am Coupe
Looking for a decent driver 73 Grand Am coupe to work on. 400 or 455 4bbl engine. Must have factory A/C, factory tachometer, prefer Morrokide interior, but no vinyl top. Power equipment nice but not necessary, I'd prefer a stock unaltered car with little to no rust. LMK what you have prices, links, etc.
Thanks! |

Does this guy really thing a real Pontiac person will even consider buying this , or is he just hoping someone doesn't notice he disgraced the car buy putting a chebby in it. What a shame, & what a FOOL.

Another odd thing on this car is the LeMans trunk lid. The grand Am would have the Grand Am emblem and the 6.5 or 7.4 Litre emblems instead of the "Pontiac" emblem this one does.

I've been talking to the guy who owns the car & he said his brother installed the chebby in it back in the 80's when his friends talked him into it. But the car is already sold & the new owner he says is going to swap the engine out of it. As far as the car itself goes it is a good looking car except the chebby engine in it.

I have one way nicer than that pos. I think I'm going to put it on eBay Sunday. Mines cheaper too and numbers matching.

The body & interior looks very nice , but it still has a chebby in it. But it did sell for more then whats on the ebay listing. Plus he did say it came with a new front nose so you don't have to deal with the crumbling nose that on it , & the grilles he had were like new that went along with it.
