It was mentioned that this first batch is a limited production run. Are there any tooling or other planned changes which will take place before the second run, or are these considered ready to go?

Echoing the other comments, thanx to all who made these happen!

Default Quarters Arived Today!!!!

My new quarters showed up today and I'm very happy with them. Good thick quage steel, body lines look good, rear lower part looks good, they are compleat just like orginals. I don't feel any waves in mine there pretty sraight, I hope they fit as good as they look. Todd

Mine are on the way. Got tracking numbers this morning. Order was not placed until this morning. I had a family issue stall things a bit last week. Can't wait to see them. I read in another thread that someone installed a set on a 71 Trans Am and found that the panel was a 1/4" too short where it meets the rocker panel at the bottom of the door jamb. He provided that feedback to Goodmark and that's supposed to have been fixed for the current production run.

No doubt having these available is great but my recommendation to everyone is don't be the first to buy these parts. I've been there done that and lost a few hundred by doing so.

I was one of the first to order the tail panel and a few months later the prices dropped considerably.

We've waited this long why not wait a bit more and save money? JMTC

If you need or want the part, the current price is a smoking deal;
It's the retailers which got burnt by buying a large quantity at the initial price - but even then, if they wouldn't have bought for inventory, they would have been fine.

That's a pretty Balzac move on the manufacturing side I'd say.... Stop and think about this as reducing the price after wholesaling a bunch of parts sure won't sit well with the value added resellers.. This type of move will make introducing new parts very difficult as a base number of parts are usually needed to justify tooling.. If they screw the VAR's here,,,, you know they'll be once bitten twice shy and reluctant to pre-order in the future... As far as new parts,,, careful what wish for/do in this instance or we may not see other new parts developed gang....

So, has anyone else installed them yet? Looking for some feedback on them, my car is getting chemically stripped this week and will be heading to paint jail soon...

Great news and thanks to Ron and all involved. I paid just as much for a 75-up NOS quarter that I intended to modify for the passenger side in order to replace the partial panel I put on it years ago. Couldn't bear to paint it with that piece of garbage on it even after weeks of work on it trying to correct its flaws. While I can't get back on the old girl just yet, at least I can now finally begin to think about moving forward with finishing the body and getting her in paint. 16 year wait for me!

After traveling to 4 shows, building my new deck, vacation and other small delays I finally got mine today... Oh, so nice!!! And, my office suddenly feels much smaller!!!
Thanks to those involved in bringing these to market, such a great piece to have and after looking them over for 20 minutes I have to say, I'm quite impressed!!!

Default rear panel question

does anyone make a repair panel for the lower rear valance without having to buy the complete tail panel assembly, mine is fine everywhere except where the inner panel and outer panel are welded together at the very bottom

Norwood is on point, no "patch panel"...

You gotta get the inner:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a...0/applications

& an outer:

then bend over :[
