Question Sorta duel feed qjet

So, I read on another forum where someone had 2 feed lines from his regulator connecting to a Y piece at the front of his Qjet , claims this helps keep the fuel up to the carb at WOT, what are your thoughts?

INFO for you Ozzman,

The typical HP Fuel regulator "output side" has two outlet ports in this example, like your question above.

Both of those outlet ports are connected to a common internal chamber in the regulator.

That common chamber feeds both lines equally so that on a Holley dual bowl set-up both bowls see the same pressure and fuel delivery.

Connecting two feed lines to the Q-Jet single inlet from the common chamber fuel pressure regulator does one thing. It says that the person who posted that on the other forum was not up to speed on how a fuel pressure regulator works.

Doesn't hurt to question posts like that (from a different forum) with the PY guys as you will get the straight goods here.

Happy Thanksgiving

Tom V.
