Neat Postcard!,
I came across this a while back of a '66 that has what appears to be a ROYAL emblem on the fender...

Hard to see if it is a GTO, assume it is. Most of the Royal Stickers I have seen installed have been placed on the Sail Panel vs on the front fender location. Cool old picture though.

I don't think it is.... seems like the turn signals are in the bumper.

It's a 66, not a 65.

66 Lemans has turn signals in bumper, not in grille like GTO. Was just pointing out that it's not a GTO....

Agreed. It's a '66 Tempest or LeMans. Not a GTO.

Guys, 60Stuffs posted a pic of a 65 (thumbnail blown up below). Cool pic! Even better if it's a 3 deuce 4 speed car!

My post is Clearly a '66, Clearly a TEMPEST.
LEMANS would have fender Gills on that forward fender location.
Any Pontiac could get the ROYAL TREATMENT.
I wasn't aware there was a "RULE as to emblem placement,
I have seen some on Fenders, Doors and such.
However the more I look at the image it does appear to be more rectangular then the Royal emblem.

Anyhow, I just thought it was a neat/related Themed image?

Oops. I didn't even see his attachment, just Jeff's with the 66. I apologize 60sStuff.

Jeff, is that the 66 Royal Pontiac Milt Shornack used to own?
