How cool would that be to find the original car
Brings you to two possible VIN's
1. 2U87X2N517132 ( 72 Formula auto)
2. 2V87X2N517132 ( 72 T/A auto)

If I was checking a VIN with PHS , I would try the T/A first as more were built .

If checking with PHS, just give the partial VIN. They will supply the correct one.

Now that's a tough one to get..... I can see a big 4 with a D to the right of it when looking from the firewall side.... to the left of the 4 is what seems to be H141 upside down.
Is that of any help?

Wow...I don't know what to say. I knew it was a 10 second car as soon as I saw it.

Gm with their dedicated engineering team and select UAW workers testing the, built for the drag strip, 427 COPO run 10.634 sec. @ 125mph. Good luck to him, hope he sells it.

I like the color coordinated steering wheel and valve covers......real value adders......and go very nicely with the bright yellow paint...

Gotta read the fine print.

Yes, it will run for 10 seconds when you try to drive it a quarter of a mile. That 10 seconds of running may get you 1/16 of a mile perhaps, before it dies.

Thank you Steve. I always fly through a statement like that without comprehending what was really said. I hadn't thought of it like that.
