1969 4 bolt main 428 Code YK (390 horse)
Date stamped I 11 8 (Sept. 11, 1968)

Sale includes block, main caps & bolts, original matching # 62 heads, and original crank. If desired, can include original rods, rockers and a windage tray.

Condition is as follows:

Block – is cleaned and magnafluxed. Although currently standard bore, will need a bit extra work for rebuild - inspection has revealed 3 cylinders will need to be sleeved (gouges on the walls that 60 over will not eliminate). Rest of cylinders also need to be bored to thoroughly clean. There is a small crack by the center oil galley between one of the main and cam journals that can be repaired with a liner.

Crank - currently standard, uncut Nodular, Cast # 9782769. Will need to go at least 10 under.

Heads - cleaned and magnafluxed, cast number 62 with date stamped I 27 8 (Sept. 27 1968). Sale will be for bare heads (no valves or springs). Will need typical rebuild and cleaning of seats.

I'm located north of Chicago, however engine currently is in Waukesha, WI. If you want freight shipped, I can arrange, though you cover expense to crate and ship, otherwise can arrange for local pickup.
