So are you wanting the daul plane style or single plane?

Default intakes

The dual plane was used in 1961. A single plane was used in 1962-63.

If your plan is to convert or build a fresh 195 ci 1bbl 4 cyl engine MAKE SURE that you get the carburetor and all the associated bits and pieces for the throttle linkage when you buy the manifold.

As far as I can recall none of that stuff is the same as the 1bbl carb intakes and if you don't buy a complete 4bbl carb with intake you will likely never find those linkage pieces. There may be other vacuum fitting(s), water outlet and/or wire holder; or aircleaner support brackets that go to a 4bbl intake as well. Best to buy a complete engine or at least the whole set-up rather than just a bare intake.

Peter gave some good advice. I don't have all the little bits just one of each. I'm going to dig them out and get pictures.

Throttle linkage for the 61 daul plain 4bbl will be a problem. I doubt you would have any problems with the 62/63? I'm not desparate and my prices reflect that.
$160 shipped for the 61 daul plain unit and $120 shipped for the single plain 62/62 intake.

Dual plane is a 61 only item. More torque from the 61 manifold. More HP from the single plane. Also,, the single plane is much lighter than the dual.

Looks like after talking to Ken over here at East West, I will not be needing a 4BBL intake after all. I am going to install a draw through turbo setup on this little thing.
Thanks for the replies, Bill
