I never say "Happy Holidays", not ever ever.

It's ridiculous.

But it is Christmas. Just like we acknowledge all the other religious and/or cultural significant events. In my being on this planet for the last 57 years it was always Merry Christmas until everybody got so PC.

Having said that, I accept your opinion.
Have a happy whatever.

[QUOTE=MYGOAT;5822495] In my being on this planet for the last 57 years it was always Merry Christmas until everybody got so PC.

So in your 57 years on this planet how do you account for never being aware of the song "Happy Holiday" written by Irving Berlin and sung by Bing Crosby in 1942?

Happy Holidays, generally speaking includes the New Year,Christmas, Hanukkah etc. people use it to define everything together, this time of the year. because they’re all so close together.

True MaryAnn, but it's still Merry Christmas for many of us. And that's how I was brought up and it's been that way for me for 67 years. The song as you said was for all the Holidays during this time of year. But don't forget, there are also songs of Merry Christmas.

I've always said Happy Holidays was thought of by Liberals so it doesn't offend anyone.

And I'm not sorry if I offended anyone. LOL Each to their own.
