Default 62-64 gp bonneville silver 4 speed console shift boot. Reproduction

looking to see if there is any interest in these reproduction shift boots for the gp bonneville 4 speed consoles. I am making these by hand so the process is a little slow. I have enough material to make about 8 boots. The price is $80.00 plus shipping. Let me know if anyone is interested i know these are no longer available from ames. Thanks, Paul.

I would be interested in one. Maybe 2. Let me know when you have it ready and we can work out the payment and shipping details. I understand the process is slow, but I am in absolutely no rush.

Rich

tom the round grommet actually fits nicely around the flat hurst handle. The first ones I made all went on hurst flat sticks. The grommet is a fairly soft rubber and forms nicely around the flat stick. Ill try to put one on a flat stick and take a picture to show. Thanks, Paul.

I'll take one in gray, but would love it if you could make one in black. Send me an E-Mail when ready.

I'm interested. Are they made with the correct silver vinyl like the original and the one Ames used to sell? As long as they are correct looking, I'm in. Let me know how and when to pay. I'm not in a huge hurry either, thanks

Default boots

These are made with a silver marine grade vinyl that is close in grain and texture to the original. I hand make these off of a pattern I made off an NOS boot that my dad has. I dont know who made them for Ames but I was not able to find one for a console I restored so I made a pattern off of dads nos one and started making them myself.

Default Sold out

Thanks for all of the replies as of now I am sold out of these shift boots. I have orders for all the grommets that I have and the manufacturer is out of grey grommets and Is not expecting to have any back in stock for at least 8-10 months. I will let everyone who responded know when their boot is ready to ship. Thanks, Paul.
