Default Tenth Anniv. Registry

I have looked around and am not aware of a TATA registry so I have decided to start one. I currently have 2, an auto and a 4sp that I am going to start the resto on very soon. I Have started listing with a few that I personally know about. I am going to get a dedicated email for which to send info. I will keep you posted. Anybody here with one please feel free to contact me.

at least 50% of the production is on eBay and Cars-On-Line so you can search the VINs there

Bringing this back from the dead, if anyone is interested. I have a little over 50 on the list. About evenly split between 4 sp and autos. I check online about once a month adding whenever I find something new. If there are any on here please let me know. Any information is helpful.
Thanks
Kerry

Kerry,

I saw the ones you had in the 77-81 picture thread before they were taken down. Are you going to restore both? I have one with the 403 auto combo. I'll send you the info.

Thanks, that would be great. I am currently restoring the 4 speed. It has a solid body, one hole in the floor about the size of a pop tart. Original motor and trans. I have had it stripped and ready to paint since dec. but the weather turned cold on me. Hoping to get some epoxy on this weekend. Im hoping it will be a pretty quick turnaround on getting this back on the road.
The car I lost in the fire was an auto. Unfortunately it was only a rolling shell when I got it. Completely rust free and solid though, main reason I saved it. The pics look bad (and I guess it really is) but im a glutton for punishment, the quarters need replaced and it needs a roof skin. I have seen guys start with less. IF I get the 4 sp done, and live long enough, I would like to try and save the burnt car. My plan at this time would be a restomod type vehicle being very little originality is there.

Have a list of them?

What info are you keeping on them?

From my experience, you will be doing all the work.

John, I checked around the net and asked several prominent people in the trans am world and no one knew of one. So I figured what the heck. I know they exist for pace cars, and the such. I realize that most people dont give a rats @%% about them but I think they are pretty neat cars. I fully intend on doing all of the work. To date I have them organized in a spread sheet, I have them listed by s/n where applicable from the lowest to the highest. I do have the no. of the first purported tata to roll off the line which gives me a baseline to start from. I also list their condition and any other info I can gather, such as where sold new, where they are now, etc.

There was a web site called something like tenthaniversaryta or something.
Not sure if it is around anymore?
(think it was on one of those free web building sites that aren't around now)

It had quite a bit of info about them.
May have some of the pages copied somewhere.

I had thought of adding the TATA's to a database, but have enough trouble keeping up with what I have already
