cleaning red lines
I recently put 4 of Coker's red lines on, already showing up brake dust/ road grime etc.. what's the best product for cleaning the red? The stuff I was using on the old white walls seems to remove the red as it shows up on the cloth after applying.. I don't want to fade the red color so any suggestions? Thanks, Jim.

If anything harsher than a mild soap and water is needed then I’d call Coker and get their recommendation. Last thing you want to do is void your warranty by using something that damages the sidewall. Have to believe Coker has had calls before and will be able to help you.

I use car wash soap and a rag. My red lines have been on my Ventura for 3 years and still look great.

When I had redlines I tried a very harsh tire cleaner because they were caked with tire shine. They were later referred to as Pink Lines. And I gave up on the tire shine.
Call Coker. |

COKER site indicates their WW cleaner is safe on RL.
Red Ink was an old trick used to maintain them, now some say paint pens?

I've tried the white paint pens on my BFG's white letters. It sure made a mess, so I wouldn't recommend them. I finally got them white again but it was a lot of work.
