Default Chrome pitting on dash of 63 GP

Just picked up a 63 GP . Chrome is pitting around gauges and 4 speed console. Anyone replating this type chrome?

Is it actual pitting that has popped or just dots? If it is dots you are seeing, 0000 steel wool usually will clean it right up and look great. If it is actual pitting that has popped there are shops that will rechrome it just like any other potmetal piece. All it takes it a blank check. Paul's Chrome in PA does excellent work at fair prices on potmetal.
