Well, I have not been to a concert lately but I spent the day at a swap meet with Lou Gramm yesterday. Does that count?

LOL! Actually, he was in pretty good shape for just getting off a plane from Orlando. Concert on Saturday night and get back in time for a swap meet Sunday morning. Now that is car collector dedication.

I have always been a fan, good music to say the least. Cool that he's a car guy also.

You could not imagine. Lou is not a rich guy with old cars. Lou is a car guy rich in car knowledge. He was at the house one day and I showed him my parts room. As we were walking to the parts room I pointed out a 1 year, 1 model only front seat. Now there are very few people that would have known what that seat was to. Lou took one look at it and said that it was for a 1983 Monte Carlo SS. He was spot on. And for the record, Lou's father was a Pontiac fan/owner. Lou also has had his fair share of Pontiacs as well including a red '64 Bonny convertible and a white '65 GTO.

Planning on seeing Third Day at Red Rocks for their final show of their farewell tour. They are my wife's and my favorite band. I've been following them for twenty years or so.

I have tickets to see four concerts this summer. First is Five Finger Death Punch with Breaking Benjamin on July 21. Two weeks later, it's Godsmack and Shinedown, then Marilyn Manson/Rob Zombie (I won't waste my time with that one), then finally Avenged Sevenfold/Prophets of Rage.

All for 40 bucks per ticket.

dont get out much to them, mainly cause of distance or mainly....co$t. ugh. saw mcCartney at Safeco five years back. best show i ever saw by far. wow. saw Vince Neil last year and he was a great as ever. he was up the road at a casino in Bellingham. might drive up the road to another casino The Skagit, to see Dennis deYoung in a couple weeks if there are tickets left but i really would like to go see at least one day of Pain in the Grass in Seattle this summer. but might be hard to get tickets so don't know. i have probs getting the bucks up for shows anymore. plus my giveadamn factor on old bands isnt quite there anymore either. http://www.kisw.com/paininthegrass/lineup

If a piece of buttered toast was attached to the back of a cat, when dropped, the cat/buttered toast combination should hover, spinning just above the ground, as it tries unsuccessfully to resolve the inevitable conflict of non-scientific certainties.

“A Perfect Circle” last April, and my favorite “Stone Sour” last July.

Sad that I missed Chris Cornell a year or so back. Who knew it would be my last chance.

Keeping my fingers crossed that “Junior Brown,” “Tool” and “Slipknot” come around again soon!
