I am happy to have had even a small part.

I hope your Formula comes together well, and you get to drive the wheels off of it

Next up is I blundered just a bit on your Y99 package content.
Yours is not the same price as NJSteve's price on his SD Formy.
His option was the higher cost Radial Tire content.
Yours is the $87.00 package
Coincidentally followed a link on a different subject earlier and accidentally found more info about 1973 Y99.

You're good on everything i said earlier about the content -
- except you would NOT have gotten Radials GR70x15
- you would have gotten Non-Radial G60x15
- Space Saver or Full-Size Spare would have been a no-cost Alternate with your package.

The spare tire mounting bracket location will tell you which type spare was chosen.
SpaceSaver had bracket up towards back seat in middle of the ramped area.

Im fixing to go on a posting spree here (again) but wanted to hit those items first.

Think I recall someone having a 73 455 block only for sale once , that was XL code , could have been a different year though.
I think they really damn did use ALL those 455 codes i listed before .
Not all were F Body , but looks like there is going to be room for all them between the different Bodies and Early/Late alternates.

Made some PY searches earlier , and found some old stuff.

2 different guys over time (way back) came on with a concern about wrong engines in their otherwise original 73 TA's.
Both ZC Code .
Turned out both cars were sold new in California .
First guy was really glad when Second guy showed up with same Code.
Second guy was relieved too.

Here is listing of what I drummed up with a search :

Scottmac69cars in Florida had a 73 455 XA code from a 73 GTO

PaulK in Ill - has/had a 73 455 Big Car YX for sale in classifieds
(may have actually been YK due to typo ? - - YX is not on the 455 list)
cast date F233 - 2 Bolt Mains

Bulletpruf had a 73 TA 455 with VIN# matching YC cast date Jxx2 - body date 11A

Dave in Ill had a 73 455 YC cast date K032 - 2 Bolt Mains

Confused Youth had a 73 455 YC with cast date A113

pgGTO in Wisc had a 73 455 YC date code A163 - 2 Bolt Mains

Unknown 73 TA Buildsheet had a YC - body date approx 02A , assembled Feb 5

Michael in Australia has a 73 455 WT engine - transplant removed from SD Test Car

Blue71ta has a 73 455 WT Block dated Jan 73

jdh421 in Colorado has a 73 TA with VIN# matching XE and Points Dist

Green Hornet has a 73 TA with VIN# matching XL and Unitized Dist

Falcon4 in Perth Australia has a 73 455 XL engine - 4 Bolt Mains

transam72n73 in California has a 73 TA with VIN# matching ZC - body build date 03B

Shift'nGears has a 73 TA sold new in Cali with VIN# matching ZC cast date I112 - body build date 11B

73T/A has a 73 TA with VIN# matching ZZ with Points - body build 06C or 06D

Later on i'm going to start a new thread with an easy to read breakdown on all the Formula 455 and 455 TA Engine Codes for easier to find reference in this section.

If we can get others to add their dates and info
Can get a tighter handle on the Early / Late Switch date on the Codes

Lol, you've been busy!
Yeah I thought mine would be F60.
Looking at the pictures you posted of that chart. It says no HD battery with AC. My invoice shows both on it.

They make changes to prices and options within the model year sometimes.
Some of the stuff changes along the way from what they start out with.
Could have been early on , the HD Battery was included with AC.

about running changes related to pricing - IIRC Rocky's new book actually goes at length to spell out price changes, and why they happened around this time frame.

My quibbles with Rocky's fantastic book are few - it is really a fantastic book, that I learnt a surprising amount of new stuff from.
