Funeral is tomorrow at 12:30 - please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

If you would like, you can make a donation to the Special Olympics in honor of Kevin Michael Daniel. Kevin worked with special needs kids and helped train them for the Special Olympics.

very sorry to hear, I think any parent would agree that this would be one of the hardest things to go through.

well we made it thru today. one of the 3 hardest days to go thru. 1. nothing like getting the phone call. I was totally numb and in shock for the whole day. 2. the next day going to the funeral home to make arrangements when your mind is a million miles away. (this was brutal). 3. the funeral.
the place was so packed that people couldn't even get in the lobby and the parking was a nightmare with people parking on the grass and on the side of the road. I think this made the funeral director upset and he wasn't the most professional in my opinion which really hurt my wife. they are supposed to be the biggest funeral business in Oklahoma. so we felt bad for the people who couldn't get in and even sign the book. his response was we just don't have funerals very often with this many people. BS. oh well

I want to thank everyone on here for your thoughts, comments and prayers.
from the bottom of my heart I pray none of you have to go thru this and if you have experienced it, I give my most sincere condolences.

finally I want to thank BOSS / chris for all the texts, calls and posting on this forum and for letting our mutual friends know of our loss. like you said we may be 1500 miles apart but I read some of your texts during the service and it brought me some peace. you are truly a brother.

I am very sorry to hear this. My best friend growing up was diabetic and has been gone for several years.

May God comfort your family.

Michael

Gary & I had spoken just recently about it and how he had come to terms with the idea that Kevin's time would come before his own but saying it and experiencing it are two very different things.

I don't care who you are or what kind of a relationship you may have with your children, but nothing, absolutely nothing will prepare you for that phone call! Please keep Gary and his family in your thoughts and prayers this weekend. Just a tragic, horrible loss.
My condolences to the family for this tragic loss! I'm sure it will take quite awhile to d3eal with this whole in the heeart, but rest assured he is looking at his family with love and affection from above.
