Nice 1968 428 crank, polished standard/standard. Cryoed

New standard rod and main bearings with my bearing mods, and cam bearings.

Icon forged pistons with 10cc dish.
Moly rings.

SCAT H-beam rods with ARP 8740 bolts.

New oil pump and pickup with all my normal oil pump mods done to it.

Align honed

Square decked

honed with torque plate

Balanced

includes used oil pan, windage tray, and a used timing cover.

I have 4 people interested in this now, so the first $2500 deposit reserves this engine with the balance of $2000 to be paid on or before shortblock is done. I will also make a build thread in the street section for this engine. Thanks!

How would this work with a pair of SD ported 4x heads?

With 82 cc chambers this engine would be about 9.6:1. 4X is going to be much bigger than 82, so it would probably be in the 8.6:1 range with 96 CC chambers and the piston .005" in the hole.

Also, I apologize, but I screwed up. The block is .030" now, and will be honed to .040" with a torque plate.

Here is some pics of some of the parts.

6X-4's with 91 CC chambers will get you right at 9:1.

Was going to see if this was still available, then saw your note in the street section.

As others said better, your health is the most important thing. I hope you find what is causing your health issues.

It's still available and I will finish it on my time on weekends so work load won't impact it. I plan on having the shortblock built by mid August. I prefer not to longblock it as that eats up a lot more time.
