I wonder if having two separate Pontiac museums will work out...this new one actually being located in Pontiac, MI makes sense, but Tim Dye's museum is already established.

I didn't notice that before...interesting. Does that mean there will be two separate museums, or is he moving his to Pontiac?

I saw a link to this thread, and was scratching my head regarding thinking that there was already one...
Maybe I'm off on the location of the existing one, or the precise name of it, but it's been mentioned alot of late in Smoke Signals....

It got THIS car last year...

It's the Pontiac-Oakland Museum and Resource Center located in Pontiac, Illinois and opened July 23, 2011. The museum was Tim Dye's creation and he is also the editor of Smoke Signals. The museums trove of historical Pontiac/Oakland materials often contributes to the magazines articles. The museum has a Facebook page.
