Gentleman's Judge - "Resto" in progess
Hi all,
A little story. Lately I've been thinking about an automatic A/C car, maybe I'm getting old. Anyway, I happen across a fairly complete automatic A/C judge online. Way over priced but I figure maybe I can get it for (a lot) less, and work on it over time. Turns out, the dealer also has a body shop. Has decided to "restore it." Plans to paint it and then "dye" the seats from their present incorrect black to the correct blue, and put a dash cap on it. "Should be worth $60k then" he says. "Not with that resto" was my response. Anyway, what a way to ruin an otherwise fairly original and complete car. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds...o/2048738.html

Don't think his plan of attack is too bad for a driver.
But his before & after prices are both wacky as he[[ |

Being from Md I don't recognize the car and never heard of that place. Lot of potential there.

I wouldn't restore that. I would do a bunch of tidy work get the correct color seats and drive it.

Linthicum, MD is just south of Baltimore. Not too far from BWI airport. I'm about 40 minutes from there.

Wonder if it's an original black spoiler car?
