Default '70 Atoll Blue RAIII 4-Speed Formula

Saw this car for sale online at Volo today and on eBay. About as nicely optioned as any '70 Formula I've ever seen and in the best one year only colors offered. Was this a PY members car, that pic with the car in the garage looks familiar?

Beautiful car, love the paint. A few intriguing areas where they starting trying to restore and others they just didn't bother with, not in a bad way. The black and red primer under the chassis suddenly just cuts off, mind you my car is the same where I decided to stop. The trunk latch and catch added after paint, looks neat, at least in later years these would be painted. Are the door map bases meant to have bright shiny screws holding them? If so it look clumsy and unfinished. The red scoop decals are not suitable, original or not. There was an almost identical car used on the cover of NPD or Classic Industries parts booklet years ago, may have been a '72. At the time it was one of the most beautiful Firebirds I'd seen.

I think the only things I would have ordered differently would be power brakes and deluxe interior.

Post #33 I hotlinked an image of the car from my Hemmings email alert of the Volo listing;
Then in post #34 I found links to the car, and who restored it.

ha!

I do the same thing!

To make matters worse (from my perspective) of late I am finding old posts of mine where I want to smack my head because of some of the stupid stuff I have written...
Life is a learning experience.
