LookMy bottom crank pulley is half a groove too shallow. It needs to come out about a half groove. When I pulled the engine I let timing cover and pulleys go with it except for the alternator braket. So I'm wondering if I don't need a different pulley. Any help would be appreciated.
These photos are of the crank pulley I have now. Last edited by hobbygto65; 01-20-2019 at 07:57 PM. |

The alternator and bracket is original, so I know that's right. I have same one on my Cat. Timing change cover and balancer are 1966. The alternator and water pump pulleys line up.

I think I'm going to have a 3/8" spacer made to go behind the pulley, that should line it up.

I have a zillion pulleys including 63's. Do you know the P/N of what you need?

Don't know the part number. Got a 1/4 inch spacer and now it lines up perfectly, so I'm good. Thanks.
