Default Brake upgrade

Has anyone installed LS1 one front brakes and been able to use 15" ralley wheels? From what I read, some 15 inch wheels will fit with a little grinding on the caliper fins. I was just wondering if anybody has actually done this. I am considering this for my 68 Firebird, but don't want to have to buy new wheels.

I can't be the only one to ever consider this swap

The brakes from a LS1 equipped 4th gen f body. It's a fairly easy swap.

Did you end up doing the LS1 brake swap? I'm considering the same thing for my 67 Lemans, but only if I can still use the 15" rally II wheels.

I bought the brackets, but never got around to mocking it up to see if my wheels would still fit

I have ls 1 brakes on my 70 Lemans. I have 15 inch welds though. I had to run a spacer to clear the weld wheel. If I remember correct, the rim clears, it was where the rim curves in( the rallye might not do that)
