I have a pair of good used 1968-72 Pontiac hood hinges, with springs, for sale in "as-is" condition.

These hinges originally came off of a 1972 Lemans 2-door hardtop. I looked them up in my Pontiac parts catalog. The GM part numbers are 9794024 for the RH and 9794025 for the LH. They fit all of the 1968-72 Tempest/Lemans/GTO and other A-bodies, plus the 1969-70 Catalina/Executive/Bonneville.

The hinges are in very good condition for their age. There is very little surface rust or corrosion present. I carefully removed the springs and found no excessive play in any of the pivot points. I see no signs of any bending or twisting. There is no binding of the hinges throughout their range of motion. They do not appear to have ever been refinished or reconditioned.

The hinges and springs will work fine for the A-bodies. If you want the hinges for a B-body, you will need the appropriate springs (PN 3926800)
