Default Viking Crusader shocks? Or Strange?

Anyone here running Viking Crusader shocks?

I have stock front suspension with 90/10's and Moroso springs. The car pogo's when launching now. I'm considering Viking Crusaders with their 450 lb coilover conversion springs.

I have ladder bars on the rear and I'm considering the Crusader coilovers with 150 lb springs. The car currently has QA1 SA shocks on the rear, that work ok.

I'm also looking at Strange DA front shocks, and keeping my Moroso springs. Then going with their DA shocks and 150 lb springs.

The price between Viking and Strange DA shocks are pretty close, but then about an additional $200 for the Viking coilover springs. I'm looking to stay in the $1500 range total, for front and rear shocks.

I'm leaning towards Viking because they have multiple calving options and it looks like Strange just has one off the shelf option. But Strange has been around a lot longer.

Viking is the guys that left QA1. They make a great shock, guys going crazy fast on them. There customer service is great also. Call them, tell them what you are doing and they will steer you in the right direction.

I have QA-1 coil over shocks front and rear. Any issues or is it just a money thing?

Everyone I know has had nothing but good things to say about ViKing shocks. I became a dealer and have sold 5 or 6 pairs in the last 5 years or so. Not a huge sample size, but they seem to be the best bang for the buck.

Ordered front and rear shocks today.

They recommended 350 lb springs in the front and 100 lb springs in the rear.

You can go on YB and PM them they get back to you quick, or call them. I called they picked the phone up and told me what I need.

I emailed them at sales@vi-king.com with my car info. Mike was very helpful recommending shocks for my car. Also, a very thorough explanation why he recommended that particular shock.

I installed the shocks yesterday. Set the shocks to the middle of Viking's recommended settings. Did a quick test on a marginally prepped surface, and I'm very happy with the shocks.

They are a HUGE improvement over the QA1 SA coil overs I had on the rear and 90/10's/Moroso springs I had on the front.

Awesome. I bought a set from Global West. They sent me the wrong ones. Can't wait to get the correct ones and try them out. Update some more if you can.
