staggered shocks
May be simple question but have gotten controversy on this .
I bought a set of Willwood disc brakes for my 70 T/A from a vendor. I asked for the kit with parking brake . Ok so I picked up kit and was on my way. After opening box and fitting backing plates ect to rear I realized this kit was for no staggered rear . I called vendor and explained the kit was wrong. Well they agreed to exchange it but It was my fault for not saying it was staggered. because not all 70 T/A 's were staggered |

I was under the impression that all 1970 models were staggered. Looking at the way the sheetmetal is in the rear, I don't see how it could be non staggered.

One shock is mounted in front of the axle tube on one side of the car and the other shock is mounted behind the axle tube on the opposite side of the car. F bodies from 1968 on were built this way to help prevent axle wrap on acceleration.
