Intake is aftermarket. Single plane plenum. I see nothing to suggest it’s a IV. if it is it’s probably for an auto as I see a flex plate on the back

No pics of any identifying markings. No telling what it really is. I noticed that water pump also. Seems like every Pontiac engine 'came out of a Judge'....or at least a GTO.
If the 614 number is correct though...might be worth a look just for those.

One pic does show it has at least one round port head.

Why is the photo of the side of the engine effectively cropped to omit the view of the cylinder head's exhaust area?

The seller couldn't pull the motor out of the quick sand? Sheesh.

I would say the odds are really against the bidder on this.
Do you think it would really turn over? The heads would likely be the only thing of interest. What are the chances of the heads being better than powdered rust? For $2500 you'd be better off buying lottery tickets

Appears to have had a Moroso Vacu Pan system on it. Also has poly locks on rocker studs. Probably was someone's drag/bracket motor back in day. Normally would not install that system on a street car with mufflers. Also looks like an old Mallory Unilite distributor.
