Default holley sniper EFI install with Holley muscle car fuel pump kit installation

Hi Guys,
I've been kicking around the idea of EFI on my '65 GTO, but didn't want to have to change fuel lines and run a seperate return.
Did a little digging and came across a bolt in fuel pump kit that Holley has call the muscle car retro kit. it has the 255lph pump and is internally regulated to 58psi, so return not needed. check out the link...
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...s/parts/12-302
I figured what the hell, i'll try it.
So i picked up the Sniper 4150 EFI, muscle car fuel pump kit, earls vapor guard hose, clamps etc .
So installed the EFI on my performer rpm manifold.
I bent up some 3/8" aluminum line and flared 6AN fittings.
I used a 90 to the earls vaporguard hose, then to a 10 micron filter.
I mounted it near the waterneck for ease of changing.

OK...then under the car, I removed the mechanical fuel pump. I cut down a chevy fuel pump block off plate i had laying around and used that to seal the fuel pump hole.
The sniper EFI come with fuel pump wiring and relay already installed, so i ran the wiring in some wire loom and back to the tank.
I then removed the OEM fuel tank sender unit and fuel hoses.
The Holley fuel pump kit has really clear instructions on how to install.
Two issues I ran into..
the fuel pump and float need to face the passenger side of the tank to align with the mounting tabs
and when you reinstall the float, make sure you don't pinch the blue wire in the bracket.

after the fuel pump install, i connected the earls vapor guard line to the original 5/16" fuel line. back up front, i bent up a piece of 5/16' steel line to go from the frame to the intake.
I picked up a 80 amp circuit breaker from amazon and made up cables positive and negative. I went with the 80 amp so I could connect accessories here also if needed.
The sniper is fused with a 20 amp fuse .I made a bracket and bolted to the driver side inner fender.
I mounted it there so I only have a small lenght of wire between the battery and circuit breaker.
Originally, i mounted the fuel pump relay and fuse to the bracket, but I didn't like the routing of the wiring, The EFI wiring wasnt long enough for that mounting, So I remounted the fuel relay and breaker on the firewall.

I wanted to have computer controlled timing, so I removed the MSD distributor and installed the Holley Dual sync distributor. I also changed the plug wires to the MSD 8.5 super conductor.
I made up a fitting and plumbed a gauge in to the fuel line.
the pump made 60 psi and relieved internally as advertised.
I finished fuel line to EFI and installed a liquid filled gauge.
key on not running...60PSI
running, gauge bounces between 45-65 psi... injector pulse.
The engine starts and runs great.
I am having some fuel/timing off idle issues, but thats fuel curves...
I'm driving now so the system "learns" a little before i tackle this issue
I have another thread started about this if interested...
"Off idle lean spot driving me nuts" in the street section also

I have the same set up but the polished version.

Two suggestions:
1) Convert your PCV over to a fixed orifice valve: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

2) Consider a fuel pulse damper: http://www.radiumauto.com/Universal-...pers-C103.aspx
