Hairy Hose
Hey, just posting this to warn most of a false item on ebay. It is a repop not original i my opinion.
Spending this kind a coin deserves the real deal. NOS GM 489908 1973 Trans Am cold air Duct Hairy inside Hose 1973-76 Item ID: 124533651466 First off no box?????????? second is no clear plastic liner inside like originals. Even the after market over the counter units had the liner. |

All the originals I have seen had a plastic inner liner - granted some of them the liner was falling apart, but it was there.
IIRC there is a similar piece used on some 1990's(?) dodges which can replace the "hairy" hose - but it's a plastic unit...

I got a new one in the box, from the 80’s. No plastic on the inside.

Looks like the Camaro got a baby one
Bet that’s harder to find along with the adapter in the fender.
